Alana and Alyssa
Alana De La Garza has established herself as a household name on television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 1977. In the next few years, she moved to Texas in search of a physical therapy career at the University of Texas. De La Garza moved from Texas to Florida, Orlando and took part in many performances. The roles included local independent films and international commercials. Despite her small roles, she soon discovered her love to act. After 2001, she relocated in New York where her first character was on All My Children's morning soap-opera as Rosa Santos. Through the initial decade of 2000, she acted minor roles on JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. She was cast in her first big role in the year 2004 on the short comedy The Mountain. The character was Maria Serrano and De La Garza was fortunate to appear alongside a number of top TV actors, including Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The role she played was A.D.A. in Law & Order in which her most memorable performance was that of 2006. Connie Rubirosa. She was featured in 85 episodes. The character from her Law & Order: LA spinoff, which was not long-lasting. De La Garza has received numerous nominations for her character, such for Best Supporting Actress Television Imagen Foundation Awards or even ALMA Award nominations. In 2008 she received one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza landed a frequent role on CSI Miami a few moments afterwards. She played Marisol Delko, the wife of the character of David Caruso Horatio Caine. Her most recent work on TV was with NBC's rather darker thriller Do No Harm as Dr. Lena Solis. It was put on hold after two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are an Italian father and a younger brother Cory, who is 10 years younger than her. The family she was raised in was an orthodox and religious family. Milano started her acting career at age seven old. Her babysitter brought her to a talent show. Milano was one of the four girls chosen from hundreds of applicants. Milano was featured in commercials on television and off-Broadway and in the American musical adaptation from Jane Eyre.
